Action Stations: Design a Ship.
Saturday 1 OCT to Friday 7 OCT.
This school holiday we are inspired by the news that the Navy is getting two new ships. Come and join us in getting creative and designing your own ship.
Last holidays we thought about where we wanted to sail to, this time we are thinking about how we would get there!
We want you to use your imagination and design a ship that has everything you need for your journey – whether that is an expedition back in time to look for dinosaurs or a voyage to Antarctica to visit the penguins. What kind of ship would you want to sail in? What would it look like?
Cost: $2 per child
Sessions: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm & 2:30pm
Duration: approximately 40 minutes
The activity is for 3 years and over – younger children will require adult assistance
Pre booking is recommended though some walk up places may be available. All groups of ten or more must book.
To book please contact the Navy Museum on 09 445 5186 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
This school holiday is a very exciting time for us here at the Navy Museum. Our new exhibition, celebrating 75 years of the Royal New Zealand Navy, will open on October 1.
This means we won’t be running Action Stations during the first week of the holidays.
