Welcome to the education pages at Torpedo Bay Navy Museum.  We believe learning happens at all ages and in a variety of ways, so we aim to be both a collaborator and dynamic resource for your learning.

Visit with the family

A visit to our galleries can be enhanced with a range of low cost, self guided activities, designed to help young visitors slow down and interact with the artefacts.

A new programme is available each school holiday.  Kids – and adults too! – can participate in an entertaining activity and take home their own handmade creation.

Bring your class

Our education programmes represent a move away from traditional singular curriculum focussed sessions to experiences where students use the processes of investigation in multi-curricular studies based around Navy themes.  The programmes are fun, hands-on minds-on, authentic and help teach children the skills they need to continue their journeys as active lifelong learners.  We have education programmes for school groups of all ages and year levels.
