Stoker Reginald Swan (Compiler)

Swan served on HMS DUNEDIN during her Pacific tour. This album contains snapshots of local people, places, and events from the time. It features visits to Tonga (Nuku’Alofa), Samoa (Apia), American Samoa (Pango Pango), and French Polynesia (Bora Bora). Later images show gatherings at Waitangi—possibly the first Waitangi Day commemoration in 1934—as well as countryside shots of the South Island.
