Dixon served with the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) 762 Squadron during the Second World War. His album mainly depicts planes, crewmates, and shots of HMS VICTORIOUS. A few pages are dedicated to leisure activities: sailors relaxing at the beach, boating, watching an American football game.
