Ordinary Seaman Ian Grant was killed whilst serving aboard HMS ACHILLES during the Second World War at the Battle of the River Plate. Grant’s friends compiled this album in order to gift it to his mother in her time of grief. The album contains images of ship life at sea featuring Grant and his fellow sailors.
