Description
Bosun’s Calls, or Boatswain’s Calls, were once the only method other than the human voice of passing orders to men on board ship. Today more sophisticated communications systems exist, but the Royal Navy still use the Bosun’s Call as a mark of respect to pipe the Captain or special visitors on board, or to emphasise important orders.
Nickel plated or Brass and Copper and measuring 115mm long, it comes in a lined box with an information sheet containing the history of the Bosun’s Call and instructions for piping.
Please note we can not guarantee if you will be sent Nickel or Brass & Copper Bosun’s Call – Orders are sent at random unless agreed in Advance. Please call us on 09 445 5186 if you are after a specific call.
