October 24th, 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the formation and ratification of the UN Charter, bringing into being the United Nations. New Zealand was one of the founding members and has been involved since 1945 with enacting their goal of world peace and security. Many objects in our museum collection represent the Royal New Zealand Navy’s participation in United Nations peacekeeping efforts. Here are a few examples:
